A gorgeous sunrise greeted us after a grueling 5 day trek thru-out the southwest. On the last leg of our trip, we decided to return to Toroweap one last time before heading home. After arriving around 3am, I was much too excited to sleep. So I occasionally peaked out of my window, glancing over at the edge of the Grand Canyon looking for some sign of light. Finally around. 5:30am, the sky started to come alive and dance with spectacular color! I captured this image just before the morning sun broke thru the colorful clouds!
